When your paid subscription starts

Your paid subscription will commence immediately after your 7-day free trial ends, and will be automatically renewed every 30 days thereafter. Before the start of each renewal period, you will receive an email notification from us with details of your plan. If you do not cancel your subscription before the monthly due date, your credit card will be charged accordingly. You can cancel your account at any time with a simple click of a button.

  1. What is the difference between Clinical Odyssey and your stand-alone apps (Prognosis: Your Diagnosis, Clinical Sense and Explain Medicine)?

    Clinical Odyssey offers all of our content under a single brand, whereas our stand-alone apps only provide a limited selection of content from our collection. Clinical Odyssey is also enhanced with multiple choice questions, and new reference article entries from our discontinued stand-alone Explain Medicine app. Additionally, Clinical Odyssey provides information regarding each learning module (author and peer review details, ICD-10 codes, etc.). And unlike our stand-alone apps, Clinical Odyssey is completely advertisement free.

  2. What is the level of the content offered in Clinical Odyssey?

    The level of our learning modules ranges from senior medical student level to early residency. However, the bulk of our content is targeted at (and used by) students.

  3. How do I subscribe?

    Start by registering to open your 7-day free trial account. It is only after your trial that we will start collecting your payments - after you have determined that Clinical Odyssey is for you.

  4. Are there any additional fees such as in-app purchases?

    No, there are no additional fees of any type. There are also no advertisements (banners, sponsored content, etc.) either.

  5. How do your contracts work?

    Clinical Odyssey plans can be paid monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you choose. You can cancel your subscription at any time with a single click of a button. However, please note that you will not be refunded for any time remaining on your cancelled plan.

  6. What do you do with my data?

    We store only what is required in order to provide you all features relevant to your account. We do not sell your data to third parties. You can read more about our data policies here.

    Clinical Odyssey (and all its content) is currently available in English only.

    None. Clinical Odyssey is a cloud-based, online service. Simply sign up and begin using your account.

    No. Clinical Odyssey is a fully managed cloud-based, online service.

  11. What payment options do you accept?

    Currently, we only accept payment via credit card and debit card. We use Stripe as our payment processing platform.

  12. How much does it cost to process payments?

    Medical Joyworks does not charge a payment processing fee. However, your bank may charge fees, including card transaction fees; and if you are making a payment from outside the U.S., international payment surcharges and currency conversion fees may also apply. Please contact your bank in this respect.

  13. Which currencies do you accept?

    Currently, we only accept U.S. dollars. If you are making a payment from outside the U.S., your bank will have to convert your payment into U.S. dollars; and you may have to pay an international payment surcharge. Please contact your bank in this respect.

  14. Do you offer student discounts?

    No. Pricing for Clinical Odyssey is already optimized for students. However, sometimes we do offer special discounts for new subscribers.

  15. How do I cancel my subscription?

    You can cancel your subscription at any time by clicking the cancel subscription button in your account profile.
