Medical Products Associate

Summary

The medical products associate is responsible for the successful development, production, release and updating of any medical content relevant to our products and their commercialization. For this, the medical products associate needs to be able to:

  • effectively work with a diverse team of medical specialists and digital technologists,
  • easily manage multiple projects at once, and
  • ensure that tasks get done on time while meeting very rigorous quality standards.

As a medical products associate, you will report to MJ’s chief operating officer. You must also be obsessed with quality, as quality is vital to us. Our work consists of presenting up-to-date medical content for use by practitioners everywhere. Therefore, everything we create must be understandable, highly accurate and flawless; and to do this, we must continuously improve everything we do.

What you will do

  • Manage diverse medical content projects essential to our commercial targets.
  • Lead all activities necessary to ensure the functioning of our International Medical Board.
  • Resolve customer inquiries related to medical content matters from our products.
  • Resolve any other client/customer relationship matters requiring a medical professional.
  • Support our chief editor and the MJ operations team to meet production targets.
  • Help out wherever a spare hand might be needed.

Qualifications

  • High medical literacy; a medical degree or medical journalism/writing background.
  • Keen sense and attention for detail.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Be service oriented: work well with others, especially in remote settings.
  • Be a detective and an engineer: identify problems and solve them in a practical manner.
  • Be a multi-tasker: juggle many projects at once under steady deadline pressure.
  • Be curious: learn new things, all the time!

Your work setup

We operate as a distributed company, so everyone has the flexibility and freedom to work from anywhere so long as the work gets done. Hours are flexible, but you must be available for chats and calls within your geography’s normal weekly office hours (9am to 5pm).
