Administration Associate


The administration associate is responsible for the management and implementation of business support functions and assisting with customer service activities. For this, the administration associate should be able to:

  • master and improve day-to-day business administration tasks,
  • easily prioritize and manage multiple projects at once,
  • effectively communicate with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, and
  • quickly learn to work across various technological platforms.

As an administration associate, you will report to MJ’s chief operating officer. You must also be obsessed with quality, as quality is vital to us. Our work consists of presenting up-to-date medical content for use by practitioners everywhere. Therefore, everything we create must be understandable, highly accurate and flawless; and to do this, we must pay considerable attention to every detail while continuously improve everything we do.

What you will do

  • Assist with day-to-day administrative support tasks relating to accounting, human resources management, legal, procurement, supplier-management, and other functions.
  • Work with the MJ customer support team to attend customer reviews and feedback.
  • Record and process data related to a variety of stakeholder communications.
  • Assist with the creation and launch of new learning products and services.
  • Help out wherever a spare hand might be needed.


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or management.
  • At least 4 years of administrative experience in a commercial and/or operational setting.
  • At least 1 year of experience with a web-oriented tech company.
  • Intercultural competency gained through work, travel or education.
  • Keen sense and attention for detail.
  • Excellent command of the English language (CEFR level C1; proof of language proficiency may be required).
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Be a detective and an engineer: identify problems and solve them in a practical manner.
  • Be a multi-tasker: juggle many projects at once under steady deadline pressure.
  • Be curious: learn new things, all the time!

Your work setup

We operate as a distributed company, so everyone has the flexibility and freedom to work from anywhere so long as the work gets done. Hours are flexible, but you must be available for chats and calls within your geography’s normal weekly office hours (9am to 5pm).
