  1. What is the level of the content offered in Clinical Odyssey?

    The level of our learning modules ranges from senior medical student level to early residency. However, the bulk of our content is targeted at (and used by) students.

  2. Can Clinical Odyssey be integrated into my organization’s learning management system (LMS)?

    Yes, we offer integration for a variety of LMS brands that meet the Learning Tools Interoperability 1.3 standard (LTI 1.3) or above, including: Blackboard, Brightspace, Canvas, Edmodo, Moodle, and more.

  3. How do I subscribe?

    Start by filling out our contact form to set up your 30-day free trial. It is only after your trial that we will start collecting your payments - after you have determined that Clinical Odyssey is for you.

  4. Are there any setup fees (or any other hidden fees)?

    No, there are no setup fees or hidden fees for using Clinical Odyssey “out of the box”. Should you require customizations, these would incur additional fees. For these, we must first evaluate your requirements before providing you a quote.

  5. How do your contracts work?

    Clinical Odyssey plans are paid monthly. This means that you can cancel your subscription at any time. Yearly plans are also paid monthly, and can be cancelled at any time. However, upon cancelation, you will have to pay for the remainder of your year.

  6. Do you offer discounts, including bulk discounts?

    Yes, we offer discounts for yearly commitments or longer.

  7. How easy is it to set up a 30-day free trial?

    Simply fill out our subscription form here. We will then contact you to verify your identity, and clarify any additional questions you might have. Afterwards, your trial will be ready to go; and you can do anything you want with it (test it on your own, try it with your class, review it with colleagues, etc.). Rest assured, a trial does not commit you or your institution to buying Clinical Odyssey. We do not require paperwork of any kind.

  8. Can I try multiple plans during my 30-day trial?

    Trials include the all-in-one plan, plus the Creator Kit. This way you can witness the full power of this fully loaded and operational service.

  9. What languages does Clinical Odyssey come in?

    Clinical Odyssey (and all its content) is currently available in English only.

  10. What technical knowledge do I need to set up Clinical Odyssey?

    None. Clinical Odyssey is a cloud-based, online service. Simply sign up and begin using your account. If you want Clinical Odyssey running on your own server, our technical team can take care of that for you.

  11. Can I download Clinical Odyssey?

    No. Clinical Odyssey is a fully managed cloud-based, online service. Even when it is running on your own server, the service still operates from our end.

  12. Can I sell any content that I make with the MJ Creator Kit?

    Yes, you can, provided that you respect our copyright. For this, please contact your Clinical Odyssey representative.

  13. What payment options do you accept?

    U.S. based institutions can pay for Clinical Odyssey via ACH transfer. Non-U.S. based institutions can pay via international wire transfer. Subject to pre-approval by Medical Joyworks, payment via credit card can also be arranged.

  14. How much does it cost to process payments?

    Medical Joyworks does not charge a payment processing cost for ACH transfers, wire transfers, or credit card payments. However, bank fees may apply on your end, including transfer fees and currency conversion fees. Please contact your bank in this respect.

  15. Which currencies do you accept?

    Currently, we only accept U.S. dollars. If you are a non-U.S. based institution, your international wire transfer or credit card payment must be converted to U.S. dollars by your bank. Please contact your bank for the applicable currency conversion rate.

  16. Do you offer student discounts?

  17. How do I cancel my subscription?

    You can cancel your subscription at any time. Just notify us via email, and it will be done.

  18. Can I change my subscription plan?

    Yes, you can change your subscription plan at any time. Simply notify us via email, and it will be done. Where applicable, you will receive a prorated refund or charge based on your new plan.
